General decay of solutions for a nonlinear viscoelastic wave equation with nonlocal boundary damping
Abstract
In this work we show that under weaker assumptions on the memory
kernel $g$, exponential and polynomial decay rates of the solution energy in the paper of Li
and Zhao are only special cases. Our result improves earlier results in the
literature.
