Some general Baskakov type operators
Abstract
A general class of linear positive operators which generalizes Baskakov's operator is consrtucted. The operators of this type which preserve exactly two test functions from the set $\{e_0,e_1,e_2\}$ are determined in each case, and for the operators obtained, we give their approximation theorem, convergence theorem and Voronovskaja-type theorem.
