On the translation hypersurfaces with Gauss map G satisfying ΔG=AG

Abstract

In this study, we research translation hypersurfaces which are obtained as the sum of three curves. We examine translation hypersurfaces in the 4-dimensional Euclidean space whose Gauss map satis es the condition /nablaG = AG, where /nabla denotes the Laplacian of the hypersurface and A is a 4x4-real matrix. Then, we show that such hypersurfaces consist of the translation surface and a constant vector along this surface or hyperplane or the hypersurface. /sigma x R where /sigma is a translation surface.
