Oscillatory behavior of second order nonlinear difference equations with a nonlinear nonpositive neutral term

Abstract

The authors present some new oscillation criteria for second order nonlinear difference equations with a nonlinear nonpositive neutral term of the form $$ \Delta \left( a(t)\left( \Delta \left( x(t)-p(t)x^{\alpha }(t-k)\right) \right) ^{\gamma }\right) +q(t)x^{\beta }(t+1-m)=0, $$ with positive coefficients. Examples are given to illustrate the main results.
