Modified models for love and their dynamical properties

Abstract

In this work, we modify the present linear and nonlinear dynamic models of love between two individuals. For the linear system, we make the model more realistic by introducing external perturbation functions, and then discuss the influences of different types of external perturbation functions. For the nonlinear system, we focus on the love affairs between two ``complementary people" and introduce the nonlinearities in a different way. Then we investigate the corresponding mathematical properties of the system’s trajectories and phase-plane, and explain its special meanings in a romantic relationship. Also, we have offered some practical advice to promote the development of their relationship.
