On the local kernel based approximation of highly oscillatory intergrals
Abstract
A local meshless scheme for computing integrals of multi-dimensional rapidly oscillatory
functions is presented. David levin [18] transformed the integration problem into a systems
of PDEs and suggested collocation methods for solving the resultant PDEs numerically. We extended
the approach of David Levin and propose a local meshless numerical scheme for
solving the resultant PDEs. The propose meshless numerical scheme is capable of computing the integrals for large data points in the domain for integrals of functions in multi- dimensions.
